The highly anticipated show of Riga Fashion Week - Katya Katya Shehurina. Lace, lace, lace...

I waited for Katya Katya Shehurina fashion show more than others. I respect Katya Shehurina immensely. Katya is an example of how one should fight for their dreams. Katya is a graduate of ESMOD fashion design school (France) and happened to be an intern for well-known French designers. When she gained the necessary experience, Katya decided to start her own brand. Katya Katya Shehurina today is a brand with own boutique in London (important to mention that the designer doesn't have own boutique in Riga, there's only a studio-showroom) and a wide client base, which include Jessie J, Nelly Furtado and Kim Kardashian.
Katya Katya Shehurina is one of the few Latvian designer brands that have their own exceptional style. First of all, it's the direction, Katya creates evening wear and bridal dresses. Secondly, it's lace that has long became a hallmark of Katya Shehurina. It seems to me that it's simply impossible to confuse Katya Katya Shehurina with someone else.
In her new collection the designer, as always, presented different variations of evening dresses. Again lace and again an incredible sophistication in Katya Shehurina style. Length above the knee, midi or maxi, short sleeves, three-quarter or sleeveless - as they say, you have dozen of choices. Katya wasn't too stingy with colors as well - here we have standard black and white colors, as well as grey palette and dark blue tones, even pastel blue, and as a statement - persistent coral.
Overall, I'm impressed. Especially delighted with the way of proposed total looks. Evening dresses were complemented by shoes from male's wardrobe and silk turbans, it wasn't just a good idea, it was an intelligently thought-out swing! Katya Katya Shehurina show closed the fourth day of Riga Fashion Week and was the last for me this time. I think that it was the best way to finish  the fashion marathon in Latvia. And certainly the best way to end my reviews! And we say goodbye to Riga Fashion Week till Spring now!
