Story about how a fur coat turned into a fur dress...

From time to time I wonder: "Why didn't I go to study fashion design?". I was pretty good at school at such subject as home-keeping, where girls acquired the skills of embroidery, knitting, cooking and so on, to put it simply, we were fully prepared for the roles of desperate housewives. Drawing has always been my main problem, so expression of my ideas through sketches that is an integral part of a designer, immediately fell away.
Though I never had problems with imagination and innovative thinking. Periodically I put my hands on things that do change its appearance after several experiments. Basic jeans that were turned into ripped ones, dress turned into a skirt, but this time I came upon fur coat. I inherited it from my grandmother and had to re-design it to fit me. After outlining a couple of ideas, I decided to get rid of sleeves myself. Remove sleeves, correct edges - sounds simple, but in reality such work requires many hours. Initially I planned it to be a long fur vest that can be worn equally with pants and dresses.
This Ulyana Sergeenko inspired look came by accident. After adding a belt and putting on over the knee boots, I actually felt so much like Ulyana. Accentuated waist, midi length and fur...
