Autumn shoes go wild and pink. 

In The Art of SAZ story we became acquaintances with young and perspective Latvian footwear brand SAZ. The brand is lead by two creative minds of Inga Šabovica and Sanita Avotiņa - who've been friends since high school and found their way in fashion by joining forces. I believe there's no need to discourse on their fashion strategy a lot. It's more than enough to mention that SAZ duo just came back from Milan, where they showcased the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection at Milano Pret A Porter (MIPAP) trade show.


Straight from classically black BigWig heeled loafers from SAZ Spring/Summer 2015 collection we jump into more seasonal collection that is filled with fur and velvet. Even though cold keeps approaching day by day and we are soon to experience a big dose of Autumn rains, and maybe some snow in about two months, Inga and Sanita strongly believe there's no reason for us, ladies, to deny ourselves the pleasure to brighten our seasonal footwear collection. In SAZ's Autumn/Winter collection you can find charming pink, blues that will remind you of a Summer sky, a combination of fashion's three G-s - green, grey and golden, as well as neutral colors. As I love saying, there's always an option for every taste and color.


Despite the fact I fell in love with every single piece of the seasonal collection, because SAZ footwear is nothing but art, creativity and fashion at its best at the same time, I found few favorites. One of my ultimate Autumn heroes are Pixies flat shoes with rabbit fur in leopard print. Simple yet with such a statement twist. Pixies will go equally amazing on casual days, semi-formal duties and nights out. Moreover, I see these flat shoes as pretty much a replacement, i. e. alternative, to high heels. Especially, when your chosen path leads you through a street lined with cobblestone. Just put your Pixies on with a formal blazer and sequined skirt, and go SAZ-zing the world!
