Timeless classics for Spring/Summer 2016 season.

A white shirt is more than an essential part of our modern day wardrobes... it takes the basic part of it. But who would have thought that such a classic piece can become a sort of a seasonal trend?
Though calling white shirt a trend of the season is quite unfair, don't you think? This piece steps out on runways of leading fashion capitals every single fashion month, though it doesn't always get into limelight. This Spring/Summer season is that rare chance for it to shine. A number of designers from 3.1 Phillip Lim and Delpozo to Tome and Monse upgraded a timeless white shirt with ruffles, jabot, interesting and unexpected (maybe) cuts, as well as additional length - in other words turning it into a dress.
Well, enough with theory. It's time for inspiration and shopping ideas (read spree)...

Almost Classics

Almost classic white shirt is a piece that looks nearly similar to the in a super simple cut each of us has in that everyday arsenal. Almost classical white shirt has an added value in a face of jabot, pussy bow (in contrasting black color), cut outs (for example, a giant one at the back so you could proudly turn your back at anyone), little details (like beloved Comme des Garcons heart) and so on.

A la Dress

A la dress is actually an elongated white shirt that can be worn both with pants, as this approach is getting back on fashion track, and without pants - as a dress. Such a multipurposeness of a white shirt-dress is a good thing that allows you to be practical in terms of a modern day fashion. Plus this white shirt option also goes in many different designs and styles.
