3 major 'don'ts'.

So today I wanted to share a little list of 3 things one should better avoid saying when dealing with anxiety warrior. I've been thinking of bringing this topic up for quite some time now... especially since I came across similar points in one pretty cool article... I guess it was then when I realized it's not just me or my personal thing but rather my casual anxiety...

So, yeah, being a person who knows what it takes to live with anxiety on daily basis, and for many many years, I decided to list out three phrases that do drive me mad. And that most probably will do the same with other anxiety prone people.

Don't tell me to relax. Like for real. If a person with anxiety was able to just chill, then we wouldn't stress or panic over simple shit that much. Our mental thing is about chemical disbalance that affects both our brain and body. So it's simply not that easy to relax.

Don't tell me to cheer up/get together. Like this point is as crazy as previous one. So when people tell me to either relax or cheer up I immediately have this feeling to take a vase and smash it against their head... and then I would probably tell them - 'You just stop feeling pain. Like stop this feeling! What's your problem? Just try!' (and, no, I've never done it). But seriously, anxiety and all these irrational processes inside one's head and body require a lot of energy.

Don't tell me 'y'a know what I feel'. Like you can't. Unless you are living with this casual anxiety or any other mental feature yourself. If you never experienced mental issues yourself, you won't really understand us. Actually, I also have this feeling that even mental warriors don't understand each other's feelings for all 100%. So you just listen and accept our words instead of denying or devaluating it.
